Relocation, Relocation, Relocation for global engineering business
Despite the major economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic, global engineering business GE Power Conversion has signed a new five-year lease on a modern office of almost 3,500 sq ft at Hillington Park’s prestigious ‘Arc’ development on Colquhoun Avenue.

Relocating from Glasgow’s city centre, visitors and the company’s thirteen staff will now benefit from a new office location which has free parking, easy access to an established motorway network and rail links to two mainline train stations and is a short drive from Glasgow International Airport.

Grant Edmondson, Commercial Director at Hillington Park said: “Despite the economy effectively being in lockdown we didn’t stop working hard highlighting the benefits of the easy access and central location of Hillington Park. Understanding our clients, both new and existing, and being flexible to their needs is at the core of how we do business at Frasers Property and we were able to act quickly when our discussions with GE Power Conversion Systems began a short time ago.

“GE Power Conversion works in the energy, marine and wider industrial sectors designing and delivering advanced motor, drive and control technologies to make industrial processes cleaner and more productive. It is a very exciting company and one that we are delighted to welcome and to add to the diverse range of companies doing business at Hillington Park.”

Frasers Property, owners of Hillington Park, works hard with organisations to provide appropriate business space that fits with their immediate needs and with an eye on the future, surrounded by a positive working environment with a wide range of amenities.

Grant Edmondson added: “We will have an additional two office units within the Arc development becoming available later in 2020 which could become a perfect new work environment for companies looking to move out of busy city centre locations to enjoy an open environment with an abundance of free parking.”
