B-Spokes, which also operates distribution centres in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Newcastle, is already exceeding its operational targets for its Glasgow operation with more than forty vehicles working to deliver over 3,000 parcels every day.

The company delivers a wide range of packages to domestic and commercial customers across much of the west of Scotland including Helensburgh, Strathaven, East Kilbride and large parts of the city of Glasgow.

Scott Winton, B-Spokes Operations Manager in Glasgow said: “We’re a really ambitious business and have grown strongly in recent years.  The move to Hillington Park was ideal for us as our customer base grew.  We’re right on the motorway network which allows our staff to be out delivering quickly and as soon as we finish processing the day’s packages.

“The building we are in also gives us scope to expand further without having to move and we’re already looking at that, just a couple of months from moving in.”

The business is also looking to undertake a large recruitment drive as the busy Christmas period begins to approach.

Scott added: “The festive period means a huge increase in our business activity.  We expect the number of packages we deliver each day to double to 7,000 a day so we are now in a recruitment phase and looking to add to our team.”
