New arrival sees Cameron Court fully let

Since the pandemic many office-based businesses have changed the way they operate and as a result have reviewed their requirements when looking for new premises with staff  working patterns, travel needs and wellbeing now top priorities.

Anticipating those changing needs, Frasers Property brought forward the refurbishment of 2,635sq ft of vacant space at Cameron Court during the lockdown with the firm belief that a naturally-ventilated modern office with extensive staff parking and Hillington West Rail Station less than 5 minutes’ walk away would appeal to businesses wanting a quick and attractive solution when restrictions were relaxed.

Within just six months of the work being completed Aerius Marine, which designs, builds and services heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems in the marine and renewables sector, had moved in.

Fiona McLelland, asset management assistant at Hillington Park said: “When the previous tenant of the office moved out during the pandemic, the office market was flat but we knew that when businesses started moving back to the workplace the market would begin to pick up for the right quality space at the right price.  We invested in refurbishing and upgrading the office including the provision of break-out and meeting room space so an occupier could move in quickly.

“Aerius Marine were very keen on Cameron Court from the first viewing and the lease was concluded within two months as the ideal new location for its Scottish operations.  It is now close to its Scottish clients’ shipyards and staff have an easily accessible base to work from.”

The 31,000sq ft Cameron Court is home to businesses operating in design engineering, electrical contracting, healthcare administration and  facilities management.

Ryden acted as letting agents on Cameron Court for Hillington Park.
