COVID-19 Update
Here at Hillington Park, we aim to keep business moving forward during this difficult time and remain fully committed to providing an ongoing service to clients across all areas of our business. We will be reviewing and monitoring developments continuously, and finding new ways to collaborate with our colleagues and customers across the globe.

As we aim to adapt to working in both this very disruptive and fast changing time, our main priority is the safety and well-being of all our occupiers, staff and their families. From last week, we introduced strict measures in line with UK government advice and introduced new hygiene, social distancing and pre-meeting screening protocols in all our workplaces as well as finding new ways to operate remotely. The facilities management teams are working shift patterns in between the office and home. They are still fully contactable on all the usual phone numbers:

Finally we would like to express our sympathies to everyone who has been affected and continues to be affected by the COVID-19 virus. We would also like to show our support to the key workers including doctors, nurses and teachers who are working tirelessly across the country.
New £12.3M car dealerships open
Two purpose built showrooms at the entrance to Hillington Park from the M8 are now home to Taggarts’ new Jaguar and Volvo dealerships.

The state of the art buildings, which have been built with an investment of over £12m from national motor retailer Lookers, will also house the very latest vehicle service centres and use the latest customer service technology.

Taggarts is part of UK motor and after sales service group Lookers plc, one of the leading motor retail and distribution groups in the UK. The new Jaguar dealership includes a 29,000 sq ft showroom split over two floors with capacity for over 70 external display spaces, making it the biggest Jaguar site in Scotland.

Customers will also benefit from the site’s impressive drive through facility, which will allow repair and maintenance customers to be serviced more quickly and conveniently. Other features include 21 customer parking bays, 14 workshop ramps and space in the showroom to display 9 new cars.

Jason Blane, Head of Business at Taggarts Jaguar Glasgow, said: “We are very excited about opening this fantastic retail site in Glasgow. The Jaguar brand is at a very exciting point in its history and is now preparing to lead the way in a number of areas, including the development of EV technology. Our new drive through facility will provide our customers with a quick and easy way to drop off their car and receive world class customer service.”

The new Volvo dealership features a 22,174 sq ft showroom split over two floors with space to display nine new car models. The new facility also provides outdoor space for over 50 Volvo Selekt approved used vehicles, as well as 20 customer car parking spaces. Customers can expect the highest architectural standards with an interior that is inspired by cutting edge Scandinavian design and transparent glass windows surrounding the new workshop area so that customers can view progress on their vehicle. Both dealerships are expected to create up to 100 jobs as they establish themselves within their larger, purpose-built showrooms.

Grant Edmondson, Commercial Director for Hillington Park said: “Jaguar and Volvo are fantastic brands to arrive at Hillington Park. They join an established cluster of automotive industry businesses covering showrooms, MOT and servicing, bodyshop, services and parts. The automotive sector is robust and growing so we expect to see further demand for new and existing premises in the future.”
