The state of the art buildings, which have been built with an investment of over £12m from national motor retailer Lookers, will also house the very latest vehicle service centres and use the latest customer service technology.
Taggarts is part of UK motor and after sales service group Lookers plc, one of the leading motor retail and distribution groups in the UK. The new Jaguar dealership includes a 29,000 sq ft showroom split over two floors with capacity for over 70 external display spaces, making it the biggest Jaguar site in Scotland.
Customers will also benefit from the site’s impressive drive through facility, which will allow repair and maintenance customers to be serviced more quickly and conveniently. Other features include 21 customer parking bays, 14 workshop ramps and space in the showroom to display 9 new cars.

The new Volvo dealership features a 22,174 sq ft showroom split over two floors with space to display nine new car models. The new facility also provides outdoor space for over 50 Volvo Selekt approved used vehicles, as well as 20 customer car parking spaces. Customers can expect the highest architectural standards with an interior that is inspired by cutting edge Scandinavian design and transparent glass windows surrounding the new workshop area so that customers can view progress on their vehicle. Both dealerships are expected to create up to 100 jobs as they establish themselves within their larger, purpose-built showrooms.
