COVID-19 Update
Here at Hillington Park, we aim to keep business moving forward during this difficult time and remain fully committed to providing an ongoing service to clients across all areas of our business. We will be reviewing and monitoring developments continuously, and finding new ways to collaborate with our colleagues and customers across the globe.

As we aim to adapt to working in both this very disruptive and fast changing time, our main priority is the safety and well-being of all our occupiers, staff and their families. From last week, we introduced strict measures in line with UK government advice and introduced new hygiene, social distancing and pre-meeting screening protocols in all our workplaces as well as finding new ways to operate remotely. Finally we would like to express our sympathies to everyone who has been affected and continues to be affected by the COVID-19 virus. We would also like to show our support to the key workers including doctors, nurses and teachers who are working tirelessly across the country.
FLG services opens new ‘super-size’ service centre
FLG Services, the UK’s largest dedicated lifting and safety provider, has invested in a new super-size service centre at Hillington Park.

The new premises have opened on Earl Haig Road, replacing FLG Services’ two previous locations on the Park.

The service centre becomes FLG’s largest service centre in the UK and includes Interlift, which was integrated into the business earlier this year.

FLG Services operates 24 service centres across the UK and offers a full range of lifting and safety equipment for hire or purchase alongside specialist testing, service, inspection, repair and design capabilities.

FLG Services is a specialist division of A-Plant, which forms part of FTSE 100 company Ashtead Group plc and is the UK’s largest equipment rental company with over 185 service centres nationwide, more than 3,600 employees and over 35,000 customers in the construction, industrial, infrastructure and events sectors.

Graeme Cooper, FLG’s National Technical and Operations Manager, said: “We are delighted to be opening a new service centre at Hillington Park.

“By integrating the two smaller premises into one site, we are combining our expertise and equipment to provide a one-stop shop for our customers. The new location enables us to hold a larger amount of equipment, including specialist lifting beams up to 600 tonne SWL. “As demand for lifting services has grown in Scotland, we have grown accordingly offering a wide range of products from life-saving defibrillators to our popular Genie lifts.”
