COVID-19 Update
Here at Hillington Park, we aim to keep business moving forward during this difficult time and remain fully committed to providing an ongoing service to clients across all areas of our business. We will be reviewing and monitoring developments continuously, and finding new ways to collaborate with our colleagues and customers across the globe.

As we aim to adapt to working in both this very disruptive and fast changing time, our main priority is the safety and well-being of all our occupiers, staff and their families. From last week, we introduced strict measures in line with UK government advice and introduced new hygiene, social distancing and pre-meeting screening protocols in all our workplaces as well as finding new ways to operate remotely. Finally we would like to express our sympathies to everyone who has been affected and continues to be affected by the COVID-19 virus. We would also like to show our support to the key workers including doctors, nurses and teachers who are working tirelessly across the country.

Travel company finds its perfect destination
The Innovation Centre has welcomed another new company to its vibrant business community.

The Travel Portfolio is an online travel agency that uses destination specialists based across the UK to offer customers a unique and tailored holiday experience.

Founded by Garry Butcher and Alistair Stewart, The Travel Portfolio provides a range of destinations to suit each individual desire, from trekking through Peru to a family beach holiday in Spain.

Combining their skills and experience in previous jobs in the travel and hospitality industries, Garry and Alistair are already making plans to expand over the next few years.

Garry said: “We have a portfolio of destination specialists that know their locations inside out and our customers can tap into that knowledge for free. This means regardless of which type of holiday someone wants, we can offer them a completely personalised service and experience. We do cater for all holiday types but we excel at those bucket list trips that need a bit more planning.

“We are available in the evenings and weekends to ensure our customers can plan their next holiday at a time that suits them. We work with them to build their perfect itinerary at the best prices possible, and all our holidays are financially protected by ABTA & ATOL. At the moment we have four destination specialists in addition to myself and Alistair and over the next few months we aim to add to the team, including business travel specialists.

“We chose the Innovation Centre due to its facilities such as meeting spaces and its location which is perfect for us. Not only do we live locally but the transport links are ideal for our suppliers when they fly up from London or internationally to see us. There is also a great vibe around the centre and it’s great to be surrounded by other fantastic businesses.”
