New Premises Are The Perfect Fit For Park Joiners
A growing building services and joinery company liked its own work so much it decided to move in.

Park Joiners, which had been employed by Frasers Property to carry out refurbishment works on an 1,830 sq ft unit at Centre Point on Montrose Avenue, decided that the property it had just refurbished was the perfect fit for its expanding business.

Gary Wright from Park Joiners said: “We were already based on Hillington Park in a small unit and were looking for something larger that included an office, workshop and yard.  When we finished the work programme at Centre Point we realised that this was the place for us.”

Founded in 2016, Park Joiners now directly employs ten staff and uses fifteen other sub-contractors to provide high quality building and joinery services to clients based across Scotland’s central belt operating in the environmental, domestic and commercial property sectors.  It has also been the lead contractor on an award winning redevelopment of a prominent former church in Glasgow’s West End.

Gary Wright added: “In a very short time we’ve seen a real business impact by being based on Hillington Park.  Not only are we right next to the motorway network which lets us reach our clients easily but we also have some of our key suppliers also located here.  Since we moved in we have also secured a number of contracts with neighbouring businesses so the business’s growth has certainly been directly achieved by being here.”

Glen Spearing, Senior Asset Manager at Hillington Park said: “Gary and his team at Park Joiners have grown quickly in just three years and we’re delighted to have helped them achieve that.  We have employed them to undertake refurbishments of our properties, including their very own unit and we look forward to seeing them continue to expand further.”
