The largest transaction sees existing occupier Benchmark Packaging, part of the Gordon Leslie Group, expand its fulfilment and specialist warehousing operations at Stephenson Street into a further 66,620 sq ft unit bringing its total occupational footprint at Hillington Park to nearly 250,000 sq ft.
In another significant deal, Stearn Electric, a national distributor to the electrical industry, is a new occupier onto the Park relocating from Govan into a fully refurbished 30,500 sq ft unit at 2 Jubilee Court.
Elsewhere a lease regear with Kayfoam on their Arrol Street premises has extended the specialist manufacturer’s occupation and enabled a further letting of 22,000 sq ft additional storage space to Steder Group.
Grant Edmondson, Commercial Director at Hillington Park said, “The economic backdrop so far this year has been challenging so it’s been a very encouraging Q2 performance to conclude this amount of transactions. You have to work hard to win new business in this market as well as find opportunities to retain and grow your existing customer base. It is testament to the focussed and relationship building approach of the Patrizia UK team at Hillington Park that we have been able to deliver these successful outcomes.”
