COVID-19 Update
Here at Hillington Park, we aim to keep business moving forward during this difficult time and remain fully committed to providing an ongoing service to clients across all areas of our business. We will be reviewing and monitoring developments continuously, and finding new ways to collaborate with our colleagues and customers across the globe.

As we aim to adapt to working in both this very disruptive and fast changing time, our main priority is the safety and well-being of all our occupiers, staff and their families. From last week, we introduced strict measures in line with UK government advice and introduced new hygiene, social distancing and pre-meeting screening protocols in all our workplaces as well as finding new ways to operate remotely. The facilities management teams are working shift patterns in between the office and home. They are still fully contactable on all the usual phone numbers:

Finally we would like to express our sympathies to everyone who has been affected and continues to be affected by the COVID-19 virus. We would also like to show our support to the key workers including doctors, nurses and teachers who are working tirelessly across the country.
Meet the Team: Fiona McLelland
In our next instalment of Meet the Team, we hear from Office Administrator Fiona McLelland who is celebrating her 10th anniversary as part of the management team.

What’s your role and what’s your average day like?

My job as Office Administrator for the Park can be pretty full on and often each day is different. But a typical day sees me as the first point of contact on the phone for letting enquiries, invoice queries and general assistance for occupiers. I also look after the office to ensure all IT and equipment runs smoothly. I deal with contractors and clients, organise keys for viewings, arrange diaries, deal with vacant properties to ensure they are turned around to a marketable condition and ensure new occupiers have moved in smoothly.

What do you like about working at Hillington Park?

The fact that you never have two days the same. I also really enjoy being able to help turn someone’s frown into a smile once their issue is resolved.

What’s the best advice you have ever received?

Always treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.

What’s your proudest moment?

Helping an elderly gentleman find the dental laboratory on the Park to have his dentures repaired. Both his top and bottom sets were broken and he had a very important weekend coming up. He was so impressed that he came back to tell me all about the repairs and then gently removed both sets from his mouth, explaining in fine detail what exactly had been done! His gratitude really moved me and it was lovely to be able to help him as part of my job.

Favourite film and book?

Indecent Proposal is a great film and I love to read anything by Maeve Binchy.

How do you relax?

You don’t often get to relax when you have a busy family life! However, the enjoyment and happiness I get by spending time with them is worth it.
