Infrastructure service cluster expands as Magdalene moves in
One of the UK’s fastest growing telecommunications services providers is the latest name to join Hillington Park’s growing infrastructure and building services cluster.

Magdalene, which is part of M Group Services, joins IQA and Richard Irvin FM at Centura Court and will neighbour FES FM and GE Energy Power Conversion which are located close by in The Arc.

Following a decision to relocate from Lanarkshire, the company’s new offices, a 9,218 sq ft pavilion over two storeys, will accommodate, initially, 40 staff working in a Covid compliant occupational basis, with capacity to double in the future.

Derek Aitken, Senior Asset Manager at Hillington Park said: “We have an impressive and expanding roster of infrastructure and building service companies at Hillington Park and Magdalene is another prominent name to add to that.  The telecom services sector continues to grow and Magdalene are well placed to respond to it, and we are keen to support its growth.

“Despite the difficulties that the Covid pandemic has placed on organisations we have remained firmly open for business at Hillington Park.  Over a very short period of time we worked with the Magdalene team initially to arrange viewings and then to instigate an agreed works programme to provide a property solution that quickly fitted their business requirements.”

Magdalene, which is also located in Cambridgeshire and Belfast, is one of three operating businesses that form the M Group Services Telecom Division, along with; Morrison Telecom Services, a leading provider of infrastructure design, build and maintenance in the fixed telecom market; and Avonline Networks, a specialist provider of telecom network build and installation services on behalf of network providers, alternative networks and local authorities.

Ryden acted as letting agent and Brodies LLP as solicitors for the landlord on the transaction.
