High Five for Little Stars
A five star performance by Little Stars Nurseries has been further boosted by being shortlisted in a national awards programme.

The Hillington Park based nursery has been recognised in the ‘Best Team’ and ‘Best Indoor Learning Environment’ categories at The NMT Scottish Awards 2016 and now goes forward to the final which will be held in Glasgow on the 2nd of September.

The good news follows another glowing report from the Care Inspectorate, the independent scrutiny and improvement body for care services in Scotland, that has seen the nursery receive ‘five stars’ for the second year in a row.

Located in the amenity and retail centre at Hillington Park, Little Stars Nurseries received ‘five stars’ for the quality of care and support; the environment; the staff and its management and leadership.

Kevin Gilmartin of Little Stars Nurseries said: “Since we opened Little Stars Nursery two years ago we have invested a lot and our staff have worked very hard to make Little Stars one of the very best around.  We’re all very proud to have been shortlisted in the prestigious The NMT Scottish Awards.

“High quality childcare comes from high quality service from both staff and amenities.  Little Stars has the best technology and facilities to support children’s development and the building design provides our staff with maximum visibility throughout.  We also demand that our staff are highly trained and always focussed on the children’s welfare.”

Louise O’Connell, marketing manager for Hillington Park said: “Hillington Park is home to around 8000 people working for over 500 organisations so having the best amenities is something we strive to have.  Both awards for Little Stars Nursery are well deserved and reflect the commitment they make to being the best.”

Little Stars Nursery accept children from birth to 5 years old, with different age groups being divided into areas that best suit their needs.
