£1m investment programme brings two large industrial units back to the market

The major refurbishment of two highly desirable industrial units covering over 17,000 sq ft has been completed as part of a £1m investment programme at Hillington Park.

Now available for rent, the two commercial properties have undergone extensive external and internal works that has seen roofs and facades recladded, new windows and doors installed and interiors completely refurbished.

The 9,793 sq ft Montrose Avenue and 7,321 sq ft Watt Road units have also had new office accommodation created and external yard space extended, and as a result of all the work undertaken the Energy Performance Certification (EPC) for each building has been significantly improved meaning reduced energy costs for future occupiers.

Derek Aitken, Senior Asset Manager at Hillington Park said: “These units have been popular over many years and by investing in modernising them and increasing the amount of outside yard space we have made them very attractive to the industrial and logistics sectors.

“The refurbishment programme was undertaken in very challenging circumstances in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic but our development team and contractors must be congratulated for delivering what will be two highly sought after properties.”

Frasers Property engaged EPC Associates and PMP Building surveyors to manage the projects. Ryden and Colliers will be marketing both units for lease.
