Procurement company sets sights on American growth
Amici Procurement, a leader in procurement solutions for the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, is taking on new staff and moving into larger premises after expanding into the USA market.

Established in a dining room, the company has grown significantly since moving to the Park in 2011.

Now, Amici has moved into an office twice the size of its previous location, hired a Sales Executive to help capitalise on recent developments and increased the team to 30.

Managing Director, Caroline Briggs said: “We are currently undergoing substantial growth and we had to make changes in order to deal with this as well as maintaining it in future. As a business, we’ve grown organically through the dedication and talent of our team who are key to our success. We outgrew our current office and 3 Centura Court allows us to have a space that will support the growth we want to achieve over the next five years.”

Amici provides leading edge procurement, purchasing and sourcing support to pharmaceutical and medical research organisations. Its software has been designed by scientists and procurement experts, aimed at freeing up management and the scientific teams whilst saving time and money.

The company deliver innovative and lean solutions to improve clients’ effectiveness and with American and UK business increasing, the Amici team are committed to keeping up their high standards and offering unlimited support to its customers.

Caroline added: “Hillington Park is our home and we’re settled here. It’s also good for business as we are close to the airport and immersed in a vibrant business community. The flexibility in units meant we were able to grow yet remain on the Park which we’re delighted about.”
