Industrial services company Aspires to grow
A modern industrial services company has already attracted a host of high profile customers to their newly renovated showroom.

Aspire Industrial Services, based on Kelvin Avenue, was established by Marc Cruickshanks and Paul Dancer and provides a range of services including; plant hire and maintenance, specialist workwear, personal and respiratory protective equipment, mask fitting services and engineering testing, to companies in industries such as asbestos, construction and demolition.

The company, which currently employs four people, has secured a high-profile customer base which has enabled it to move ahead with its growth plans.

The showroom, which includes a trade counter, has been completely refurbished into a modern store with additional facilities including a mask fit service and an in-house embroidery set up to be completed 2018.

Claire Donnelly, Finance Manager, Aspire said: “At Aspire we offer an efficient and convenient one-stop-shop for companies who are in need of specific equipment, large power tools, engineering testing and a specialist workwear. Our Directors spotted a gap in the market that would allow companies of varying industries to hire and purchase a range of products needed to complete a job.

“Our growth potential is massive as we can attract customers from all types of industries including asbestos, demolition and retail. We have also managed to secure distributorship with high profile brands including Milwaukee, Red Wing, Defender, Numatic and Quill.”

Aspire’s aim is to grow naturally whilst steadily taking on new staff as the company expands. Currently it is in the process of recruiting an engineer to carry out PAT testing, face fitting, respiratory protective equipment (RPE) testing and servicing and any other technical aspect of the industry.

With plans to take on apprentices to offer quality training to the young, local workforce Aspire is confident about the future.

Claire added: “We want steady growth so our goal is to build our team as we expand. We are big believers in thinking about the future however and providing work and training for young people in the region is something we feel passionately about. “In terms of location, there was no other option for us – we had to be based on Hillington Park. We know the Park well and the footfall is only increasing with the new brands arriving over the last year such as Harley Davidson, Arnold Clark and Ducati Glasgow. Everyone knows Hillington Park and the passing traffic, transport links and thriving business community made it the perfect base for Aspire.”
